History
Soliyarn was founded in 2018 with the goal to solve one of textile industry's biggest problems: WATER WASTE, through the use of Chemical Vapor Deposition technology. This groundbreaking approach evolved into an unprecedented capability to transform textiles into semiconductive devices without altering the perceivable feel of the fabric.
Soliyarn derives its name from "Saliya", an indigenous community of generational weavers in India that come from the same region as the company's founder, Dr. Trisha Andrew, and were an inspiration in her mission to revolutionize the smart garment industry through development of electrically conductive yarn.
